What is SkinMedica?
SkinMedica began as a small company like most. However, unlike most skincare companies, SkinMedica had some really knowledgable individuals around the products from the beginning. For example, dermatologist Dr. Fitzpatrick was a cofounder of the company. For those that don’t realize the importance of that statement, Dr. Fitzpatrick is one of the leading experts on skincare and lasers. Have you ever heard of the Fitzpatrick skin scale? Yea, he invented that scale. So from the early beginnings of SkinMedica, the company had an enormous commitment to science-based skin care and it hasn’t looked back since.
SkinMedica has made significant strides in a lot of the different categories within the medical-grade skincare space. First, they are the leaders in growth-factor technology and continue to use their science in these areas to generate new and exciting products.
